31 <title>Start a video conversation</title>
33 <p>If you have a webcam, you can call your contacts and have an video
34 conversation with them. This features only works with certain types of
35 accounts, and it requires the other person to have an application that
36 supports video calls.</p>
40 <p>From the <gui>Contact List</gui> window, click the
41 <media type="image" mime="image/png" src="figures/camera-web.png">video call</media>
42 icon next to the name of the contact you wish to call. Alternatively,
43 right click the contact and choose <gui>Video Call</gui>.</p>
46 <p>A new window will open. When the connection is established, you will
47 see <gui>Connected</gui> at the bottom of the window, along with the
48 total conversation time.</p>
51 <p>To end the conversation, choose <guiseq><gui>Call</gui><gui>Hang up</gui></guiseq>.</p>
55 <p>To turn a video conversation into an adio conversation, choose
56 <guiseq><gui>Call</gui><gui>Send video</gui></guiseq>, or click the
57 <media type="image" mime="image/png" src="figures/camera-web.png">video call</media>
58 toolbar button to deselect it.</p>
