  35     The <em>Salut</em> service is a serverless communication service:
  36     you do not need to connect and authenticate to a central server in
  37     order to use it.

  40     This kind of serverless messaging system is restricted to a local area
  41     network and an active Internet connection is not necessary.
  42   </p>
  43   <p>
  44     The people that use this service inside the same local area network
  45     will be auto-discovered, and it will be possible to send them messages
  46     and files as with other services.

  49     All the modern local area networks should be able to support this kind
  50     of service.
