36 If the instant messaging account that you want to use is not enabled in the
37 drop-down account list when you try to start a new conversation or join a
38 room, your account details may not be correct.
44 Make sure that you are connected to the Internet, or to a local area network.
49 Choose <guiseq><gui>Edit</gui><gui>Accounts</gui></guiseq> and select the account
55 Type your username and password again to make sure that they are correct.
60 Check in the <gui>Advanced</gui> section that all the details are correct.
61 You should be able to find these details from the website of the messaging service.
66 Check that the <gui style="checkbox">Enabled</gui> check-box is selected.
67 If it is not, select the check-box to enable the account.
